Our formal 10-week internship programs provide students with the opportunity to work on critical projects integral to our team's success. Interns work alongside some of the best minds in Real Estate, in an innovative, fast-paced environment and are expected to approach tasks and projects with dedication and initiative.
Our internship program connects students with industry leaders and provides foundational real estate knowledge through a speaker series and networking events. We focus on accelerating growth with hands-on professional development and training. Recognizing that real estate thrives on relationships, we create an engaging experience with volunteering, portfolio tours, and intern led activities, all designed to build collaboration and a connected cohort.
Responsibilities:
The summer Analysts will be responsible for supporting the marketing team for the retail and restaurant clients in Hudson Yards or Columbus Circle. The analysts will complete a competitor analysis of mixed-use properties spanning New York City, U.S and beyond. The analysis will be a comprehensive breakdown of audience, energy, events, sponsorship, signage, social, and use of digital marketing channels while providing thought provoking feedback/opinion that can tie into overall strategy and suggestions for Hudson Yards or The Shops at Columbus Circle.
- Develop 2025 strategy for The Shops inclusive or programming, events, employee engagement initiatives, and community engagement
- Collect real time feedback from the managers of shops and restaurants to define marketing strategy and support for Summer 2025
- Collaborate with fellow marketing interns and Related's corporate communications team to publish a Quarterly Intern Newsletter
- Research Shoppable website agencies including pricing, timing and any additional information
- Compile a master list of social best-practices recommendations and NY-based influencers
- Develop strategy to grow newsletter database and increase engagement rates
- Update contact lists inclusive of hotel, residential, tenant relations
- Create a list of pop-up brands, retail events/trends
- Manage tourism outreach via GMB, Yelp, Viator, TripAdvisor reviews
- Work with Apple/Google Maps and Web team to optimize functionality and accuracy of both
- Attend all strategy, marketing, campaign and content meetings
- Assist in wrap up reports for programming and campaigns
- Reorganize Box folders into a functional, organized system
Compensation:
- The hourly rate for this position is $25-$30
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Current undergraduate sophomore or junior with a target graduation date between June 2026-June 2027
- Experience with social media, digital analytics, retail/restaurant marketing, influencer marketing preferred
- A strong passion for real estate
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills; experience with excel
- Exhibits a strong understanding of technical skills and job specific knowledge
- Demonstrates clear and concise communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Self-Starter with a proactive approach to tackling tasks and challenges
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to new challenged in a dynamic environment
- Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA
