Role Description
As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of our social media marketing efforts. This includes developing and implementing social media strategies across Instagram and TikTok. This position will also have the opportunity to write and design our bi-weekly newsletter, if you so wish. This is an unpaid summer internship from 2/3 through 5/1. This role requires an on-site, part-time commitment of no more than 20hrs per week at our West Loop office.
Qualifications
- Currently in college or recent graduate for marketing, social media, communications or similar major
- Strong understanding of the bachelorette industry, current themes and trends
- Proficient in capturing video content and editing videos/photos for social media platforms
- Proficient in Canva and CapCut preferred, but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Experience with social media planning & Later scheduling program is a plus
- Experience with Klaviyo is a plus
- Experience with Lightroom and Photoshop is a plus
