Job Summary:
The Alumni Project Manager will be responsible for the design and implementation of an alumni ambassador relationship initiative for an international exchange program sponsored by the U.S. Government. This role will focus on developing a comprehensive database for program alumni ambassadors which would allow reporting regularly on the current status and activities of past program participants, as well as inform program outreach and events involving the alumni community. The Alumni Project Manager position will identify alumni activities and achievements worthy of special recognition and amplify alumni achievements to internal and external audiences.
Essential Functions:
- Collaborates with IIE’s Operations and Business Systems teams to develop a system for collection, tracking, and maintenance of Alumni Ambassador data in IIE's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system - Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- In collaboration with supervisor, develops and maintains a process for tracking communications outputs related to Alumni via the CRM (web articles, social media posts, speaking engagements, etc.).
- Maintains all information and supports requests for Alumni speakers, profiles, quotes, and photos. Coordinates speaker matches and communications with Alumni, in addition to compiling requested materials.
- Identifies strategies to obtain regular updates to alumni status. Serves as the direct point of contact with Alumni platform administrator and prepares messages and digests to send to users.
- Supports outreach to Alumni Ambassador community through targeted multi-media communication plan including but not limited to announcements, and a quarterly newsletter.
- Promotes Alumni Ambassador engagement and participation in Program events.
- Manages logistics for events, including coordinating hotel and venue contracts and event materials.
- Collaborates with internal teams, such as Events and Outreach and Recruitment.
- Works closely with supervisor in the development and/or implementation of new initiatives (i.e., programs, events) and special/technical projects
This position is currently funded for 12 months.
