SUMMARY OF POSITIONAre you passionate about optimizing digital experiences and delivering innovative solutions? The Air Conditioning Contractors of America is seeking a talented Digital Experience Specialist to take charge of and enhance our mobile app and website. In this hands-on role, you'll actively improve user engagement and increase usage of ACCA's digital platforms by leveraging data-driven strategies and cutting-edge design principles. You will be responsible for executing improvements to user interface (UI) design, functionality, and overall user satisfaction, ensuring that all content and features are accessible and compelling to members.You'll directly manage the user experience for ACCA's mobile app and website, making data-driven improvements and implementing new features based on user feedback and analytics. You'll collaborate within the marketing team to ensure all digital assets, campaigns, and updates are aligned with the overall strategy to increase member interaction and engagement.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESMobile App and Website Optimization
- Take charge of the day-to-day operations of the mobile app and website, executing updates and improvements to ensure content is accessible and the platforms remain user-friendly.
- Directly execute improvements to enhance user engagement, including optimizing the user interface design, functionality, and content accessibility.
- Identify areas for performance improvement and implement changes based on analytics, feedback, and best practices to actively increase usage and engagement across the app and website.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to website/app functionality, ensuring a seamless experience for users.
- Ensure the mobile app and website are optimized across devices, including smartphones, tablets, and desktops.
User Experience (UX) Optimization
- Analyze user feedback and behavior to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement, executing changes that enhance the overall user experience.
- Implement A/B testing, usability testing, and other research methods to assess user needs and preferences and directly apply insights to make data-driven improvements.
- Execute strategies to improve usability, ensuring that the website and app provide an intuitive, seamless, and engaging experience for members.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Utilize analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, app analytics, heatmaps) to monitor and track user engagement, identifying trends, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
- Regularly execute performance reviews of the app and website, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improving user engagement, content access, and overall platform performance.
- Provide monthly reports on app and website performance, outlining improvements made and suggesting additional enhancements based on data insights.
Marketing Support
- Support email marketing efforts as requested by the Director of Marketing, Communications, and Membership Engagement, including:
- Develop visually engaging, high-impact email marketing campaigns that align with the digital experience strategy and drive member interaction.
- Maintain accurate email marketing lists, working with the Membership department to ensure data accuracy.
- Analyze email and e-newsletter success regularly using campaign metrics, making recommendations for improvements based on data insights and industry best practices.
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for email marketing platforms.
- Ensure a seamless customer journey between the email marketing platform, specifically HubSpot, Higher Logic and Mosaic, website, app, and CRM database.
Collaboration & Strategic Execution
- Collaborate within the marketing team to develop and implement digital assets and strategies that enhance the user experience, drive engagement, and increase member interaction with the app and website.
- Execute content updates for email campaigns, ensuring seamless integration of digital marketing strategies across platforms.
- Work closely with marketing and communications to design and execute promotional materials that increase digital engagement and usage of the app and website.
TRAVEL
- Approximately 10-15 travel days per year
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of proven experience in hands-on execution of mobile app and website management, ideally in a membership-based or association environment.
- Strong proficiency in directly implementing UX/UI design improvements and optimizing digital platforms for better user engagement.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, heatmaps, and app analytics to track performance metrics and suggest improvements based on insights.
- Experience with email marketing platforms like HubSpot, including campaign design, analysis, and list management.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a keen eye for detail in executing digital content updates and performance enhancements.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple initiatives effectively.
