Description
Purpose for the Position:
Works closely together with director, hiring managers, recruiters, and other management personnel to ensure that the hotels and organizations human resources policies, and practices are as efficient and high-performing as possible.
Essential Responsibilities:
Benefits And 401k Administration
- Work with agents from USI / Voya / Wex to ensure benefits related inquiries and legal reporting requirements are complaint.
- Ad hoc reporting and maintenance of Paycom system to ensure medical records are aligned with Paycom records.
- Support employee benefit request
- Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
Recruitment
- Ensure recruitment platforms are being used to full efficiency by Hotel HR personnel.
- Ensure LinkedIN is updated and refreshed with appropriate job postings and appropriate branding is being used.
- Ensure Indeed is updated and refreshed with appropriate job postings and appropriate branding is being used.
- Is the primary point of contact for vendors solicitation
- Oversee the recruitment program
- Lean in to support HR personnel with talent sourcing as needed
Total Rewards and Compliance
- Oversee the Windsor Newsletter by working with HR team to capture content and organize a process to release a newsletter once a quarter.
- Handles all protocol development and ensures the timeliness of communication for Pulse Surveys / Legal Inquiries / Salary Guidelines / Training needs / Recruitment program initiatives.
- Ensures the compliance of HR policies and procedures throughout the organization.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and general HR-related matters.
- Assist hotel level in organizing employee engagement programs and events.
- Monitors employee training process for each property to ensure we are up to date and compliant.
- Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
- Submits employee injury reports to Workers’ compensation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Reports all human resources endeavors to the Director of Human Resources.
- Supports and adheres to the core values, the mission statement, service fundamentals, and guest service philosophy as defined by the company.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
HRIS System/Paycom
- Ad Hoc reporting as necessary for Finance and Human Resources
- Ensures all data in Paycom is relevant and up to date.
- Audits Paycom hotel data to ensure it is accurate
- Works to find efficiencies in the system for enterprise use
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, HRIS system, and Applicant Tracking System.
- Understanding employment laws and regulations related to HR practices.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
Physical Demands: Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally. Requires walking or standing to a significant degree and or requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Requirements
- College degree highly preferred.
- At least 4 years of Human Resources experience required.
- Hotel experience preferred.
