Position Summary
Agility Insurance Services, LLC’s Product Sales Specialist plays a sales operational role in supporting the company’s product strategy by building relationships with carrier representatives, developing product-specific content, and delivering training to active and prospective agents. Reporting to the Product Sales Director, this role focuses on the tactical execution of carrier communications, training initiatives, and content creation to ensure agents have the tools and knowledge to succeed.

Role Responsibilities
Carrier Relationship Management
- Maintain day-to-day relationships with carrier representatives to gather product updates, market insights, and support resources.
- Communicate carrier updates and changes to internal teams and agents as needed.
- Coordinate with the Product Sales Director to ensure alignment on carrier priorities.
Product Expertise
- Develop deep knowledge of the company's product offerings, including features, benefits, and compliance requirements.
- Stay informed on carrier updates, industry trends, and competitive products to provide actionable insights.
Agent Training and Support
- Collaborate with the training department to develop and deliver product-focused training sessions for agents.
- Travel nationwide to conduct on-site training sessions, tailoring content to regional agent needs and market demands.
- Host webinars, workshops, and one-on-one training sessions to ensure agents understand product offerings and strategies.
Content Development
- Create product-specific content for newsletter, email campaigns, social media, and marketing materials.
- Develop visually appealing and compliant training materials, such as presentations, videos, and e-learning modules.
- Ensure content aligns with carrier guidelines and the Product Sales Director's strategic direction.
Sales Support
- Assist agents with client-facing presentations, providing product comparisons and competitive insights.
- Work closely with the sales team to identify and promote high-value product opportunities.
Performance Tracking and Feedback
- Gather and analyze product-specific data, such as agent feedback and sales trends, to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide regular updates to the Product Sales Director on product performance and agent engagement
Compliance and Best Practices
- Ensure all communications and training materials comply with industry regulations and carrier requirements.
- Provide guidance to agents on compliant marketing and sales practices.
Collaboration with internal Teams
- Work closely with the Product Sales Director to execute priorities and strategies.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to create effective campaigns and collateral.
- Align efforts with the training department to refine and deliver impactful education programs.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to enhance agent engagement and streamline product information delivery.
- Use technology to create and maintain online libraries or portals for product resources.
Event Participation and Brand Promotion
- Attend and represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and market events.
- Promote Agility's brand, product expertise, and value proposition to existing and prospective agents.
- Collaborate with marketing and leadership to develop event strategies and materials that highlight the company's product offerings.
- Network with industry professionals to gather market insights and identify potential partnership or product opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in health insurance, specific to managed care, Medicare, Medicaid, ACA, or Group benefits).
- Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to develop and implement sales training, processes, and performance management systems.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to adapt to market trends and align sales initiatives with organizational goals.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Active health insurance license.
- In-depth knowledge of the health insurance industry, including products, regulations, and market dynamics.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.
- Knowledge of compliance standards related to health insurance (e.g., HIPAA, ACA guidelines).
- Willingness to travel (typically 25–50%) as required to meet with agents, attend industry events, and other travel as needed.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
