Apartment Therapy Media is looking for a hands-on, creative Videographer to join its dynamic Video Team. Reporting to the Senior Video Producer, this role will lead, shoot and edit branded and editorial video content for both the website and social media. Additionally, the Videographer will lead long form video projects by producing, shooting, and editing videos that successfully capture Apartment Therapy Media’s brand. This individual will work hand-in-hand with the Senior Video Producer to ensure videos are shot to perform well, in a timely manner.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Produce, shoot, and edit content for branded content, editorial content, and social media, both short and long-form.
- Act as the primary liaison between video and sales
- Help edit promotional videos, recipe videos, and additional company videos on an as-needed basis
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience shooting, producing, and editing video content
- Oversee all aspects of video production, including pre-production, production, and post-production.
- Collaborate with writers, designers, and subject matter experts to develop engaging video content.
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere editing software
- Can create visually appealing and innovative motion graphics using industry-standard software (Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Working knowledge of Davinci or another color grading software.
- Expertise in social media platforms, such as Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
- Must be a team player and excellent collaborator
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000
The above represents the expected salary range for this role. Ultimately, compensation is determined by level of experience, location, and other job-related factors.
