What We Need
Skanska USA Building Inc. (Skanska) is looking for a full-time Marketing Coordinator II to join our team in Tampa, Florida. In this job, you’ll support our overall marketing and business development efforts by taking on responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Producing proposals, qualifications, award submittals and presentation material
- Assisting with business development efforts including event support
- Capturing and edit employee headshots and event photography
- Implementing concepts for and production of collateral materials
- Managing local database responsibilities
- Coordinating creative services re quests including pursuit videos, graphic design requests, etc.
- Interviewing staff to draft resumes, project sheet descriptions and case studies
- Contributing to quarterly internal employee newsletter and other internal communications.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent skills in time management, organizing, writing, proofreading and editing
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, construction management, architecture, civil engineering or related discipline
- Three to five years of prior marketing experience in the Architectural, Construction, Engineering (AEC) industry or similar capacity
- The ability to think outside the box, multi-task and meet tight deadlines A team-player mindset
- Ability to adapt to different communication styles
- A willingness to learn and work above and beyond
- Understanding of the AEC industry and marketing fundamentals
- Basic video and content development skills
- Determination and dependability

A day in the life
- Meeting with the Business Development and Marketing team to discuss strategic initiatives
- Developing a layout for a proposal in InDesign and inputting information
- Interviewing project team members for value-added information to improve proposal response
- Taking headshots and inputting employee resume information into company database
- Updating resumes and project sheets for a proposal.
Good to know
This job is performed in the office and requires frequent sitting (often working on a computer), frequent walking, standing, bending and reaching. Due to computer usage, there may be repetitive motions of the hands and wrists. You must be able to navigate jobsites and are expected to comply with all safety regulations. Work hours are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. However, as a highly deadline-driven and fast-paced environment, there will be projects and pursuits that may require time above and beyond the typical work schedule. While there may be occasional opportunities to expand on additional marketing skills, the primary focus of this role is not social media, video editing, website design, advertising or digital marketing campaigns.
