JOB OPPORTUNITY: MARKETING & COMMUNITY RELATIONS COORDINATOR

POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing & Community Relations Coordinator for Cassidy’s Cause Therapeutic Riding Academy (CCTRA) will spearhead the marketing and financial development efforts to help advance the mission of CCTRA. Reporting to and in partnership with the Executive Director, the incumbent will work with the Board of Directors and lead the organization to reach annual fundraising goals through individual contributions, corporate donations, foundation grants, planned giving, and special events. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized self-starter with an ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders while exhibiting a positive attitude and enthusiasm for CCTRA work, mission, and philosophy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Designs marketing materials (flyers, brochures, infographics, etc.)
Coordinates and develops annual fundraising plans & activities.
Facilitates fundraising outreach activities including events, e-mail, social media, and marketing resources.
Creates and publishes the Spring and Fall Newsletter.
Leads and actively participates in the identification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and management of a portfolio of individual donors, corporations, foundations, and judicatories with a focus on increasing donor renewal rates and securing new major gift opportunities.
Communicates clearly, honestly, and respectfully with all staff, participants, parents, and volunteers.
Assists the Executive Director in day-to-day activities as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

High school diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years of direct applicable work experience.
Prior experience working in the non-profit sector is a strong plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Competency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
Ability to communicate with a wide range of donors.
Capable of creating and delivering various presentations to potential donors and organizations.
Prior design experience with the ability to create graphics, flyers, and promotional material.
Develop, implement, and manage the website and social media strategies.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Detail-oriented with exceptional proofreading abilities.
Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to multitask.

EMPLOYMENT ELIGIBILITY

Authorized to work in the United States with an active and valid driver’s license.

Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
