Motion Tactic is a B2B-focused website design, development, and SEO agency located in Tempe, AZ. We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Marketing Specialist to lead the charge in marketing our agency. The primary focus of this role is building the Motion Tactic brand, increasing awareness of our expertise, and driving engagement with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
While your primary responsibility will be to shape and execute marketing initiatives for Motion Tactic, there may be occasional opportunities to contribute to client-facing projects. This role is ideal for a seasoned marketing professional with at least 3–5 years of proven experience in marketing strategy, copywriting, and content creation.
Responsibilities
1. LinkedIn Thought Leadership
- Collaborate with the founder to craft engaging, high-value content tailored for their LinkedIn profile.
- Develop and execute a robust posting strategy to establish Motion Tactic as an industry thought leader.
- Stay ahead of industry trends to ensure content remains innovative and relevant to promote our agency’s expertise.
2. Newsletter Marketing
- Develop and execute strategies to grow subscriptions to Motion Tactic’s newsletter.
- Write and curate compelling, audience-centric content that showcases our agency’s insights, expertise, and success stories.
- Use analytics tools to monitor performance, draw insights, and optimize content.
3. Primary Research & Insights
- Lead primary research initiatives to produce actionable insights tailored to Motion Tactic’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
- Translate complex findings into clear, compelling narratives to position our agency as a leader in the B2B website design, development, and SEO space.
- Ensure alignment of research efforts with broader agency marketing objectives.
4. Occasional Client-Facing Work
- Collaborate on select client projects that align with your skill set and expertise.
- Support client marketing initiatives as needed to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Qualifications- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in marketing, copywriting, or content creation in a professional setting.
- Proven expertise in writing and editing for B2B professional audiences, with a focus on brand marketing and thought leadership.
- Ability to strategize and execute independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Advanced knowledge of LinkedIn as a professional content platform, with a portfolio showcasing agency-focused marketing.
- Experience with newsletter platforms and performance analytics tools.
- Background or interest in primary research methodologies and their application in marketing.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in a creative agency or fast-paced, high-performance environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines under minimal supervision.
