The Marketing & Events Specialist will support in the day-to-day marketing initiatives set by the Chief Marketing Officer & the Network Office.
Lead the development and execution of all digital assets related to marketing events and activities for the local office and select financial advisors. Examples include website updates, social media calendar and posting, print and digital collateral design. The ideal candidate will have experience creating and managing social media accounts, excellent written communication, and experience organizing events.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide creative, high level design work for all marketing initiatives throughout the network office and for select financial advisors (ex: digital event invitations, social media posts)
- Complete content writing projects, meet deadlines and following content requirements in terms of style and project specifications (consistency in messaging, branding and style)
- Research and evaluate competitor marketing, digital content & industry trends; identify gaps in content and recommend new topics
- Create and implement innovative social media content for the Network Office, select financial advisors, and select members of the Executive Leadership Team
- Internal Newsletter creation and distribution (Digital & Print for Display)
- Assist in crafting and maintaining website content for network & district offices as well as select financial advisors
- Optimizing external communications for SEO and accessibility with all digital platforms
- Identify and lead digital marketing education and training (workshops and webinars) to select financial advisors, their marketing team and the network office (Sprinklr, Website, CRM Engage, marketing materials)
- Support all digital assets related to small to large scale marketing and community events
- Provide support for local Network Office events
- Promote all events to drive engagement and attendance
- Schedule and help coordinate any fundraising/philanthropy events
- Keep track and promote local networking events
- Support all network client appreciation events
POSITON QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications preferred
- 5-8 years marketing experience
- Organized, creative thinker with excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively with people at all levels; maintain confidentiality
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and take independent action to make decisions with minimal oversight
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (including Publisher), Adobe suite (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop), Canva and social media technologies (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram)
- Experience in Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneDrive)
- Experience planning and executing events
- Occasional night/weekend projects as determined by event schedule
- Previous experience in financial services a plus
- Familiar with CRM and reporting tools
