Job Summary And Qualifications
CereCore, a leading provider of health IT services, is seeking a versatile Internal Communications Specialist to execute and enhance our internal communications strategy. This role aims to improve operational efficiency, strengthen company culture, and support thought leadership.
In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure all internal communication is clear, consistent, and aligned to the company’s goals and values. This individual is part journalist, storyteller, librarian, and engagement specialist who has a critical editorial eye and a dedication to supporting teams across multiple locations and remote environments. This individual should understand IT consulting services and the healthcare industry, have strong writing, editing, and organizational skills and enjoy collaborative work in a team environment.
- Create and draft compelling content for newsletters, announcements, internal websites, and other communication channels.
- Develop and maintain a customer reference library to ensure easy access to essential and approved information.
- Optimize and implement internal communications strategies across various channels, including the CereCore Link bi-weekly newsletter, CereCore Link SharePoint site, and Webex Teams groups, ensuring consistent and effective communication.
- Serve as the team lead for internal SharePoint/intranet resources, ensuring sites are up to date and well maintained so that employees have timely access to essential information.
- Curate and organize engaging experiences, such as town halls and employee events, to foster a positive company culture.
- Coordinate internal employee event initiatives to support culture and engagement, including assisting departments with communication materials, signage, and marketing-owned equipment.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive content calendar to ensure timely and relevant internal communications, including cultural and wellness events, meetings, and employee activities.
- Identify opportunities to promote employee engagement and foster a positive company culture.
- Assist with company brand store inquiries and inventory requests, ensuring that employee needs are well met.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communications and information flow across departments and the parent company (e.g., SharePoint usage, newsletter readership). Provide recommendations for improvement based on feedback and data analysis.
- Contribute to the advancement of CereCore messaging by collaborating with the external content team to identify and develop stories that support brand growth and enhance the company’s reputation.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in using SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office products.
- Adapt and tailor content for various digital formats and presentation styles to maximize engagement.
- Other duties as assigned or needed by business.
What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Three or more years relevant work experience
Other/Special Qualifications
- Proven experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a related role.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and SharePoint. Staffbase a plus.
- Experience in content creation and delivery, including email, newsletters, intranet content, videos and presentations.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
- Experience in event planning and coordination.
- Strong project management skills and ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the organization.
- Knowledge of best practices for internal communications.
- Adept at working a hybrid schedule, balancing in-office and remote work effectively.
- Motivated self-starter who thrives in mission-minded and purpose driven work environments.
