Overview
Future opportunity for am Internal Communications Manager! While this role is not currently open, we are always looking to connect with talented professionals like yourself for upcoming opportunities.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Promotes company and its culture through effective internal and external communications efforts.
- As Webmaster of corporate website, writes, approves, publishes and/or updates content.
- Provides editing support, as needed, to various divisional sites.
- Collaborates with investor relations on quarterly earning's reporting, helping to publish press release and earnings information on corporate site and monitors the quarterly earning's webcast.
- As editor of the corporate quarterly employee news magazine, solicits, writes and edits stories, manages budget, takes photos, coordinates layout and design with outside designer and coordinates e-mail distribution on a scheduled quarterly basis.
- Works with communications management to product and distribute audio messages to employees from the CEO and other members of the executive management team.
- Provides writing and editing support for corporate and divisional publications and other communications.
- As co-editor of corporate monthly newsletter, solicits, writes, edits stories, takes photos, coordinates layout and e-mail distribution.
- Works with management to plan and communicate the annual Relay for Life of Itasca Corporate event.
- Works with communications to identify and pursue initiatives that will improve internal communications, boost employee morale, and support/promote company culture and shared values, while also building company's external brand.
- Collaborate on the development of company annual report and provide content, editing and design support.
- Act as backup to management in handling media inquiries and/or public relations requests.
- Acts as backup in handling "Contact Us" requests.
- Manages or assists in special communications efforts or internal/external events as they occur throughout the year.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience required.
Preferred:
- Degree major in English, Journalism or Communications preferred.

- Well organized and able to effectively multi-task.
- Manages projects independently and meets deadlines.
