A Brief Overview
Radiology - Program Coordinator for CPCU and AI Programs
Under the direction of the Vice Chair of Clinical Research, the Director of Radiology Education and Research, the Director of the Center for Pediatric Contrast Ultrasound, and the Director of CHOP Radiology Informatics and Artificial Intelligence - the Program Coordinator serves as the point person for all administrative matters of the Center for Pediatric Contrast Ultrasound (CPCU) & the Radiology Informatics and Artificial Intelligence program.
CPCU program coordination responsibilities include: organizing team meetings, educational workshops and webinars, tracks all financial transactions for the Center, manages the CPCU’s image on various platforms including websites, tracks monthly research output (papers, abstracts, etc.) involving contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) in the Department of Radiology, keeps a repository of all Center documentation in a secure location accessible to all team members, etc.
Informatics and Artificial Intelligence program coordination responsibilities include: coordinates and oversees the AI core team operations. Creating and communicating action lists and plans for follow-up, attends and summarizes all CAIPR weekly group meetings, sets up regular meetings with CAIPR team and project collaborators to ensure regular progress, provides monthly newsletter updates about the AI Core, supports the personnel and logistical needs of the research and informatics teams, manages the onboarding of new research AI applications by facilitating conversations and follow-up with vendors, DTS and CHOP legal. Manages the implementation of software agreements and manages IRB, technology transfer and data use/transfer agreements. Coordinates implementation of clinical and research algorithms, including radiologist training and maintains accurate monitoring/logs of AI performance/output.
Communicates effectively, works independently, and takes initiative for various tasks. Certification in project management is preferred.
What You Will Do
- Oversee day-to-day operations and work product
- Monitor and coordinate program operations, resources and projects including develop project plans and facilitate the resolution of issues.
- Enact policies and procedures, and maintain related documentation and databases.
- Collaborate across teams and serve as the primary liaison for the program.
- Oversee and participate in team, project and program meetings.
- Manage and maintain operating budget, supplies and resources.
- Maintain program metrics and related tools and regularly reports results.
- Monitor and support related finance, accounting and billing functions.
- Coordinate information collection, compilation and dissemination as required.
- Provide advanced administrative support as needed.
- Perform other duties and projects as required.
Education Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED Required
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Experience Qualifications
- At least one (1) year of administration, coordination or program experience Required
- At least 1-2 years of administration, coordination or program experience in a health care related environment preferred
