We are looking for a Marketing Manager II for our client, a large energy provider in Charlotte, North Carolina.

- Hybrid onsite 2-3 days a week (Candidates must be local or planning to relocate to Charlotte metro area)
The Marketing Management team ensures that the marketing, advertising and creative tactics for Client's products and services are aligned to meet the goals of the organizations they support. This is a mid-level career position within the Marketing Management job hierarchy. This position will work with both external and internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize marketing messages, marketing channels, and paid and earned media opportunities.
This Marketing Manager is accountable for the development of program marketing budgets, managing to budget, and ensuring that strategic cost alignment and accepted ROI are continuously within stakeholder roadmaps. This position effectively establishes and tracks campaign metrics including timeline, unique selling proposition, product launch information, expenses, goals, ROI, and determines the process for incorporating metrics into the marketing plan.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strategic annual marketing plans that translate claims and features into benefits, while maximizing customer response rates and ROI
- Manage, lead and organize multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously to meet desired product goals and timelines
- Assist or lead in managing product marketing budget
- Manage all creative development associated with marketing plans and campaigns
- Create dynamic customer targeting and budget channel allocation strategy
- Assist in defining A/B market and creative testing, and collaborating with market insights on all consumer research
- Develop, track and report out on campaign metrics and analytics
- Responsible for all outbound marketing quality assurance procedures to protect customer data
- Assist or lead campaign automation strategy for outbound marketing channels
- Serve as the liaison with regulatory affairs, program management, customer service, corporate communications, legal and other key internal and external stakeholders to build alignment on the marketing communications.
- Provide support for internal/external challenges and/or regulatory issues; provide advice and technical expertise in marketing execution.
- Maintain working knowledge of best practices in marketing
- Meeting with the creative, marketing, and design teams to ideate and define content goals.
- Researching content and consumer trends to ensure that content is relevant and appealing.
- Developing content strategies to effectively reach the desired target audience and marketing goals.
- Creating content for a variety of platforms including newsletter, websites, and social media.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years related work experience. Areas of specialization: Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, Communications.
- Demonstrated communication, presentation, interpersonal and writing skills
- Excellent Project Management skills
- Demonstrated planning and organizing skills
- Must be local to Charlotte, North Carolina and can be onsite 2-3 days a week
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the utility industry
- Knowledge of utility tariffs and regulatory requirements with utility programs
- Knowledge of electric vehicles (EV) and EV programs
- Ability to work independently and/or a part of team
- Ability to take ownership of multiple priorities
- Ability to identify problems, develop solutions and take actions to resolve.
- Ability to write both long and short form content as needed
The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $43.00-$46.10 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
