At Delta Digital, we're building a portfolio of media brands focusing on informing and entertaining people in pursuit of their passions. Our rapidly growing direct sales team is in need of a Jr. Account Executive to help drive sales for our Pets vertical which currently includes the brands Showsight Magazine, Showsight Express and Top Notch Toys. This is a unique opportunity for someone looking to get their start in sales pitching some of the most respected publications in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Pitch Showsight Magazine and Top Notch Toys to its loyal readers interested in paying to be feature in the magazines
- Close deals based on an existing pipeline of potential targets
- Pitch across Print, Newsletter, Video, and Experiential solutions
- Serve as the primary contact and manage relationships with existing clients
- Work with the Pets leadership team to continue to develop new ways to grow the vertical’s revenue
Experience
- 1+ Years as a print + digital seller
- High energy and enthusiasm for print, digital, and experiential sales with a motivation to be in the market on a weekly basis.
- Exceptional track record of exceeding revenue targets.
- Creative and consultative seller who continuously finds new opportunities to sell through.
- An entrepreneurial spirit, tenacious drive, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Superior organization, prioritization, and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Proven ability to be highly accountable for a book of business and day-to-day sales best practices, good follow-up and follow through (cold calling, prospecting, market share reporting, call activity, sharing information with appropriate internal stakeholders, etc).
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills and demonstrated experience in presenting to groups.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote, along with sales CRM tools.
