Job Summary: The Research Associate is responsible for working with Financial Professionals within the organization to research and write documents that are a large part of the Valuation Analysis.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Research, write and proofread the following, by due date, with minimal assistance from other members of the Research team:
-Industry Analyses
-Quarterly Economic Overviews
-Company Industry Perspectives
-ESOP Newsletter
-Articles assigned to Research Team by Content Committee
- Create surveys for ESOP-owned companies, with collaboration from the Marketing and Industry initiative teams, including:
-Research
-Analysis/data interpretation
-Drafting survey results.
- Assist with preparation for busy season by pre-writing industry sections
- Proofread documents for marketing team
- Participate in Research Team’s special projects and initiatives, independently
- Oversee Research Analyst/Sr. Research Analyst work product
- Mentor and train interns
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, but Master’s degree preferred with a focus on Liberal Arts and/or Humanities
- Prior experience using research best practices including but not limited to, understanding how to gather and utilize the most relevant information and properly document sources
- Outstanding written communication skills, including the ability to adapt to company's writing style
- Expert in Microsoft Office products
