What to know
Help us tell our story to the right audiences with compelling content. We are looking for a Senior Partnerships Marketing Manager to hone Blue State’s voice, story, and marketing across channels to help us drive more brand awareness and high quality business leads. You will showcase our mission, our work, and our clients and lift up the ideas and voices of our employees, offering a window into the culture of our workplace to attract new clients and talent.
The ideal candidate has a background in B2B marketing, agency sales or client services, content strategy and development, and project management, with a passion for writing and telling stories of the nonprofit, advocacy organizations, and purpose-driven brands whose values match our own. You are a person who is both creative and analytical, and understands how to put themselves in the shoes of Blues State’s target audiences to deliver impactful content that drives business results. You are also comfortable executing marketing programs across channels — social, email, paid events, and conferences.
You’ll help develop the marketing program from strategy and concepting through execution. You’ll work closely with the Head of Global Marketing, the broader Partnerships (business development and marketing) team, and thought leaders across the agency to bring together an overall vision and roadmap for marketing. You will then develop and execute content calendars, and plan events, in concert with subject-matter-experts across the agency to develop content that ranges from major reports to social posts. Lastly, you will help us execute the plan, helping to create and distribute content across channels.
You will also support the Partnerships team on select proposals and pitches, get to know our business development approach, better understand how we competitively differentiate ourselves, and help us to refine our storytelling.
