MARKETING MANAGER
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Marketing Manager at MakerSights, you'll be at the forefront of shaping our content strategy and driving successful go-to-market initiatives. In this role, you'll split your time between crafting compelling content for specific accounts (Account Based Marketing) and contributing to our overall brand narrative (demand generation). This role will report to the Director of Product Marketing, and will be based out of the United States. Collaborating closely with our research, product and customer facing teams, you'll leverage your expertise to produce insightful research-based content that resonates with our audience. This position is ideal for someone with a mix of strategic thinking and hands-on execution skills, who understands the apparel, footwear and accessory space (or a similar industry such as CPG, Beauty etc) and is passionate about creating and delivering engaging creative content.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Account Based Marketing
- Account Research: Conduct in-depth research on priority accounts to understand their specific needs, pain points, and decision-making processes.
- Campaign Strategy & Execution: Develop personalized marketing strategies for each target account, after conducting account research, including email campaigns, packaged content, events etc.
- Content Creation: Based on your understanding of our top accounts priorities, create content that is directly relevant to them with a focus on leveraging insights, in partnership with Director of Research
- Campaign Analysis: Analyze marketing campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results.
- Automation Strategy & Execution: based on what works best in ABM, build a basic apparatus on how to scale / automate across groups of accounts
- Demand Generation:
- Strategic Development: Design and execute demand generation strategies that drive interest and engagement with a focus on leveraging research throughout the funnel.
- Content Calendar Planning + Execution: Plan and execute a content calendar with a focus on research content and thought leadership content.
- Newsletter Contribution + Management: Contribute to monthly newsletter content and own newsletter coordination / send in in Hubspot.
- Email Sequencing: Craft email sequences to support lead generation movement throughout the funnel.
- Hubspot Ownership: Own Hubspot instance including creating and updating lists, emails, newsletters and workflows
- Event and Partnership Collaboration:
- Event Planning + Execution: Co-manage event planning and execution in collaboration with the Director of Product Marketing, ensuring alignment with broader marketing goals.
- Partnerships: Own 1-2 marketing partner relationships, overseeing joint content creation and partnership activities.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of experience within 2 out of three of these roles: account based marketing (ABM), demand generation, and content marketing.
- An eye for what is interesting to those who work at apparel, footwear and accessory companies and an understanding of how their businesses run.
- Proven ability to create compelling content and communicate effectively.
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently in a small, fast-paced team.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Adaptable to change and comfortable working in an environment with ambiguity.
- Curiosity and a proactive mindset that drives continuous improvement and innovation.

Salary Range: The Salary Range for this position is $120K - $150K annually, with exact salary depending on location as well as prior work experience and the assessment of one's fit for the role.
