Communications and Engagement Coordinator
Description:
The Communications and Engagement Coordinator supports Family Hui Hawai’i to share our work with the community! We aim to amplify our voice through clear and impactful communication across social media, newsletters, texts, emails, and more. The Communications and Engagement Coordinator will represent our organization in the media, and support participants, Parent Leaders, and the Family Hui Hawai’i team to promote our mission and vision.
Responsibilities:
- Communications
- Create content and messaging to promote and celebrate Family Hui Hawaii
- Coordinate Social Media, Website, Newsletter, Year in Review; PSAs, Editorials, Advertising, etc
- Storytelling and Evaluation: Written, Verbal, and Video Testimonial stories
- The priority goal is to build and strengthen the fiscal foundation of FHH
- Connection and Relationship Building
- Build relationships and engagement with families, community partners, and the public
- Represent Family Hui Hawaii at networking or engagement opportunities, including some evening and weekend event
- Work closely with other staff, board members, participants, and donors
- Fundraising to support Family Hui Hawaii and build relationships with potential donors
- Support overall mission and FHH programming
- Deliver Family Hui Hawaii programming
- Recruit participants, group leaders, and community members
- Support the participants and Parent Leader engagement such as the Parent Advisory Council and Hui for Parent Leaders
- Make connections with partners, programs, and corporations to develop and strengthen programming
- Networks by participating in cross-sector agency groups and business sector groups
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in creating online content and managing social media platforms.
- Interest: A personal and professional interest in parenting and family support services is essential.
