The Corporate People and Culture Manager supports the home office People & Culture (Human Resources) team. Join us and help create a fun and engaging spirit in the home office. Indirectly this role supports field People & Culture operations.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage SPIRE’s Learning Management System (LMS) administration for the entire company
- Manage the on-boarding process of home office new hires and employment authorizations
- Create & manage Leave of Absence and Workers' Compensation follow-up for company
- Prepare home office fun activity events and office lunches
- Create the monthly company newsletter and other communications
- Provide field People & Culture support to Regional Directors of People & Culture
- Create and maintain electronic files to support a well-organized and efficient HR department
- Manage 3rd party unemployment claim communications with the field
- Direct employment verifications with 3rd party vendors & properties
- Participate in projects assigned by VP and Director of People & Culture
- Create & Drive all company People & Culture monthly presentations
Physical Demands:
- Sitting and or standing in front of computer screens for 8 hours or more
- Lift, pull and push up to 15lbs.
Qualifications:
Education:
- A 4 year degree in an accredited college preferred or 4 years HR experience
- SHRM-CP or PHR a plus
- Strong skills in MS Suite (Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint)
Experience:
- 2 years of professional human resources experience
- Knowledge of employment law EEOC, Title VII, ADA a plus
- Strong analytical skills for assessing situations and making sound decisions
- Experience in HRIS systems UKG a plus
- Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus
