Role Overview:
We’re looking for a Social Media Community Manager to manage the digital presence for our clients. This role involves shaping an online persona, engaging with the community, and creating captivating content. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic about sports, entertainment and even the business within the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Content & Community Management:
- Be and Avid Sports Fan that can identify unique and fun moments throughout a game.
- Fan Outreach: Engage with fans, promote our Discord server or email newsletter, and grow our community on LinkedIn, Threads, and potentially X.
- Email Newsletters: Assist in drafting and sending newsletters.
- Content Creation: Write Instagram captions, YouTube descriptions, and schedule/upload content across platforms.
- Content Research & Writing: Spend 25% of your time researching and writing new, engaging content.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and consistency of content across all platforms.
Community Engagement:
- Ability to Manage Multiple Platforms: Understanding different social algorithms and content templates
- Audience Interaction: Respond to comments and messages to foster a vibrant community.
- Outreach Initiatives: Proactively engage with fans, encouraging them to join our Discord server, Threads or any new social platform.
- Platform Growth: Develop and maintain a strong community presence across social platforms - FB, IG, X, YT, Discord, Threads, Twitch and More.
Content Scheduling:
- Optimal Posting Times: Post content during peak engagement times, including occasional weekends.
- Content Management: Schedule and upload posts to ensure a consistent and engaging online presence.
Collaborative Environment:
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team, embracing a collaborative approach.
- Versatile Role: Be adaptable and willing to take on various tasks as the role evolves.
Preferred Skills & Interests:
- Subject Matter Enthusiasm: Interest in sports and entertainment with a focus on Southern California sports and ability to undertand the global sports markets.

- This position is located in South Pasadena, CA with the ability to work remote in certain scenarios.
- This is a 40 hour a week position with a schedule that is around the sporting world's schedule.
- This is a PAID position with a hourly rate depending on experience.
