Summary:
This role is responsible for identifying and generating leads, initiating contact with potential partners, and qualifying them for further engagement with our sales team. You will be at the forefront of our company's growth by identifying prospects, ultimately contributing to the expansion of our revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Industry Research: Stay up to date with the media landscape and competitors across the newsletter space. Identify and track key newsletters and their advertisers to better hone 1440’s lead generation pipeline. Additionally, review past top-performing 1440 partners and identify competitors who are not yet testing in newsletters for potential outreach.
- Prospecting and Outreach: Utilize personalized, compelling outreach messages tailored to different audience segments. Initiate contact with prospects via email to introduce our offerings and establish interest. Employ effective follow-up strategies to nurture relationships with prospects and move them through the sales funnel.
- Pipeline Management: Cross-reference potential prospects with current partners and those the sales team is in active conversation to avoid confusion. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions and lead status. Provide timely and insightful reports on lead generation activities and pipeline health to sales management.
- Account Management: Once a prospect shows interest, facilitate a professional handoff to a senior salesperson for further negotiations. After an introductory period and demonstrated capabilities, this role will have the opportunity to lead sales calls and own accounts.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with the sales team to align strategies, share insights, and optimize lead generation efforts. Communicate effectively to relay market trends and competitive insights. Act as a brand ambassador for our company by representing our values and offerings professionally in all interactions. Participate in team meetings and collaborate with the 1440 team as a whole.
- Data and Analytics: As-needed, pull reports for the sales team on partner performance, lead generation metrics, and more.
Pay for this role starts at $90,000 with bonus opportunities.
