JOB DESCRIPTION:
Abby Young Styling is seeking a Part-Time Marketing Assistant. This individual should be accustomed and eager to work in a fast-paced environment, and self-driven to lead research and project planning. The part-time position would be 90% remote, and 10% in-person in Los Altos Hills and approximately 10-20 hours per week. This position reports to and communicates closely with the CEO, Abby Young.
CORE DUTIES:
- Manage social media content across all platforms (IG, TikTok, LI, Pinterest)
- Create & plan content
- Choose photos and publish to website
- Manage & publish weekly blog posts on fashion news, trends, and styling tips
- Create & plan content
- Reference popular fashion keywords for SEO optimization
- Publish blog posts across social media channels
- Manage & publish monthly and seasonal newsletters
- Create & plan content, graphic design, and copy
- PR Management (publication relationship)
- Pitch to local news publications
- Respond to online news publications’ requests for stylists’ insight (via Qwoted, HARO)
- Seek to build new visibility and publication relationships with brands
- B2B Marketing materials graphic design & copy
- Slide deck creation
- Services advertisements
- Sponsored content
- Propose and organize collaborative events and service trades
- Physical Marketing materials graphic design & copy
- Promotional flyers, branding materials
- Develop & improve copy across website, social media, newsletter, presentations, and email
- Lead quarterly R&D presentations
- Analyze and synthesize website/social media performance
- Facilitate team-bonding
- Propose business innovation and company-culture development
- Conduct interviews and ghost-write fashion articles for a local arts & culture magazine
- Digital lookbook creation
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
The Administrative Assistant must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skill and abilities:

COMPENSATION: $22-27 per hour, depending on experience
