We are a dynamic production company dedicated to promoting the works of a New Yorker-published and Carnegie Hall-level composer. Her works have been performed by some of the world’s premiere artists and orchestras, and we are now solidifying her legacy as she reaches retirement. Our small but passionate team includes a Columbia Business School alum and a Stanford MBA, serving as Chief of Staff.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Coordinator (Intern) to join our team. In this role, you will support us by creating engaging reels, social media assets, and other digital content. You will have access to Canva and Adobe Suite tools (e.g., Photoshop, Premiere Pro) and receive high-quality marketing briefs from the Chief of Staff. You will work as part of a team of five and occasionally support a digital marketing team at a leading marketing firm.
Responsibilities:
• Create catchy reels and social media assets for platforms including FB, IG, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Edit a monthly newsletter (copy provided).
• Occasionally capture video content and bring new ideas to the table for content engagement.
• Turn around videos and other assets quickly.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure cohesive and effective marketing strategies.
• Report back learnings and findings to the team.
• Support additional clients if you prove valuable.
Requirements:
• Social media and digital marketing experience.
• Ability to provide samples of your work (portfolios, managed accounts, video assets).
• Proficiency with video capture and editing tools (must have your own).
• Familiarity with Canva and Adobe Suite tools (e.g., Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
• Experience with Hootsuite is preferred.
• Eagerness to learn and implement new ideas.
• Ability to work up to 5 hours weekly. We don’t believe in unpaid internships, hence the $20/hour.
• Availability for on-site work occasionally (travel expenses and meals covered).
Preferred:
• Designers or design students.
• High-quality work, even if AI tools are used.
• College students looking for internships that offer course credit.
• Video editing and shooting experience with top-quality assets and examples of work.
