VENTEON Finance is hiring a Human Resources Business Partner to support a prestigious sports club in the Metro Detroit area. POSITION TYPE: Full time, CONTRACT TO HIRE , working onsite daily. PAY: $75,000 to $85,000 annual
Requirements of the Human Resources Business Partner:
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business or related field is required.
- HR certifications such as SHRM, PHR or SPHR are desirable.
- Prior experience supporting a 4 or 5 star recreational club, hotel, resort, casino or hospitality required. May consider work experience at a non-profit company as well.
- A minimum of 4- 5 years of Human Resources Generalist experience required.
- Knowledge of current payroll taxes and employment labor laws. Paylocity knowledge a plus.
- Well rounded Human Resources skills such as in management, recruitment ,on/off boarding, training, performance management, benefits administration, payroll, succession planning and organizational development.
- Understanding of best practices including building an inclusive workplace.
Duties of the Human Resources Business Partner:
- Take full responsibility for all Human Resources related strategies and activities . Work hand in hand with the General Manager and leadership to create, enhance, develop, and drive HR goals and activities.
- Act as subject matter expert in all things HR Related for the company.
- Develop and implement compensation plans and recruitment programs. Manage seasonal and non-seasonal job openings.
- Oversee job description development, onboarding / off boarding, training, development, and retirement planning activities.
- Manage all benefits programs.
- Provide support for payroll operations. Interface with Payroll Processor.
- Ensure employee performance reviews are fair and conducted timely. Provide HR coaching to managers and team members.
- Ensure positive employee relations, address performance issues professionally, make sure the team feels highly supported. Address concerns and corrective actions. Ensure team members are promoting an extremely high level of customer service.
- Develop and implement employee recognition programs, monthly staff newsletter and charitable activities.
- Develop and administrate HR Policies and procedures, keep employee manuals up to date. Handle DEI activities.
- Maintain compliance with all laws and regulations.
