Description
We're looking for a highly detail oriented and organized Sales Planner to join our Sales & Brand Partnerships team. The ideal candidate has strong written and verbal communication, is highly organized and can manage multi level projects from various team members.
The Sales Planner is primarily responsible for assisting the Account Executives in growing business by developing strategic media plans to be submitted alongside our social, newsletter & podcast proposals and assisting in client negotiations. The ideal candidate is a forward thinker who understands media math & is able to handle multiple projects at a time.
This role will report to the Project Lead and will assist all S&P team members, and will work alongside various members of the company.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop strategic media plans; create tailored media strategies that align with client objectives and Betches Media’s offerings.
- Check for inventory availability, enter sold through media plans into CRM system
- Respond to servicing and information requests from team members and clients: work with various internal teams to gather information for clients and fulfill requests
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clients.
- Building digital media plans and supporting the sales team in managing the day-to-day agency/client relationships and sales processes in order to achieve company revenue goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Media, Communications, Marketing, Business or a related field, preferred
- Experience working/interning within relevant media planning or buying
- A positive demeanor and approach when handling day-to-day tasks
- An ability to effectively problem-solve and multi-task
- Strong attention to detail and robust organizational skills
- A strategic and solutions-oriented mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Data driven decision making, analytics
- Deadline drive and juggling multiple projects at one time
- Experience working across Microsoft suite, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required
- Embodies an eager-to-learn attitude with a drive to take on new responsibilities
- Proficiency in media math and terminology is advantageous
Compensation
The expected annual base salary for this role is $65,000 - $70,000. Final offers for this role will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided. Years of experience, skills, and other factors such as location are considered when determining the salary offered. Total compensation and offer package will include the following perks below.
