Position Summary
Seeking an exciting new career opportunity? Then Woolpert is seeking you! Woolpert is hiring an internal communications manager to join our dynamic Corporate Communications team. This position is responsible for coordinating and managing internal communications for Woolpert’s global offices and staff. This person will work with and report to the communications director to structure and measurably advance Woolpert’s internal communications by supporting staff, all departments, and leadership. This position will be responsible for the production and delivery of relevant, timely, and engaging communications and will encourage and facilitate the sharing of clear and consistent information both to and from staff. The internal communications manager will manage our internal communications specialist while contributing to the effectiveness of the Communications Team and the Sales Engagement Department.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
As the internal communications manager, you will:
- Work with the communications director to develop an overarching strategy for effective and efficient internal communications across Woolpert’s global offices.
- Manage the flow of communications between internal departments, the firm, and select groups throughout the firm.
- Manage the internal communications calendar and direction of activities.
- Write, edit, and manage content and distribution of the weekly newsletter.
- Oversee the organization and execution of internal events, including town halls and regular meetings.
- Write, edit, and manage companywide intranet content, focusing on relevancy, timeliness, and engagement per global staff.
- Write, edit, and manage content for and distribution of companywide announcements.
- Work across Woolpert’s global family of companies to provide continuity in communications.
- Measure the effectiveness of internal communication tactics and platforms.
- Positively engage with staff and work constructively with others.
- Manage and mentor the internal communications specialist(s); devise clear responsibilities.
- Establish employee performance goals, provide regular feedback, and work with direct report(s).
- Develop creative content such as videos, social assets, and more to enhance communication efforts and engage employees effectively.
- Collaborate with the HR business partners on communications related to organizational structure, change initiatives, and culture activation.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Education: BA/BS in communications/related field and five (5) years of experience in internal communications OR ten (10) years of experience in internal communications.
- Software: Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft SharePoint.
- Travel: Less than 10%.
- Overtime: Occasional.

- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated skill in interviewing, writing, and editing per AP Style.
- Mentally and physically capable of performing all essential duties required of the position.
- Proactive management approach.
- Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong facilitation and/or meeting skills.
