The Award-winning Boulders Resort & Spa Scottsdale is looking for a Membership Sales Coordinator for our outstanding Golf Department. The Boulders is world-renowned as one of the finest golf resorts in the western United States. The courses are considered the most demanding in the Southwest and are known for their rugged beauty.
General Purpose
- Directs all marketing of membership sales and follows through with actual sales and sales approval processes.
- Ensures accuracy of the file systems and accounting procedures and coordinates new member introduction into the Club.
Essential Duties
- Monitors monthly and other financial reports/statements on a daily/weekly/monthly basis for the facility and takes effective corrective action when necessary.
- Develop and lead a strategic membership development program designed to increase total membership count and membership dues revenue.
- Assist in the development and implementation of advertising and promotional campaigns designed to generate membership sales.
- Develop and ensure proper maintenance of an accurate contact management system, including call records, database, and activity management.
- Maintains membership records.
- Prepare monthly membership reports for managers and owners.
- Assists in the coordination of all club events including invitations, mailing, and other publicity.
- maintain and develop strong relationships with current members to encourage participation in club events and maintain a high level of member satisfaction.
- Effectively communicates with management staff and associates to increase knowledge of membership goals, satisfaction, retention, and activities.
- Networks with community partners.
- Prepares monthly newsletter for members from input given by each department.
- Be available to be an acting manager.
- Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work evaluating performance, rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
- Assures that effective orientation and training are given to each new associate as well as creating training programs.
- Monitors business volume forecast and plans accordingly in areas of manpower, productivity, costs, and other expenses.
- Manages departments including but not limited to Head professional, Tournament coordinator, Director of Instruction, Locker Room, and Tennis.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
Education/Experience
- Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- PGA and CMAA preferred.
