About the Role
We’re seeking a Newsletter Publishing & Podcast Production Intern to manage the production of NOYACK Wealth Weekly and support our growing podcast initiatives. This role emphasizes operational and organizational tasks, with light editorial responsibilities, to ensure the smooth publication of our newsletter and the production of podcast content featuring subject matter experts in fintech, wealth management, and personal finance.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone interested in the behind-the-scenes aspects of publishing and podcast production. Please note that this position does not involve writing or creating original content.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the logistics of newsletter production, including uploading, formatting, and scheduling content using platforms like HubSpot or beehiiv.
- Perform light editorial tasks such as proofreading, fact-checking, and formatting to ensure content accuracy and consistency.
- Manage the content calendar, coordinating with the editorial and podcast teams to meet deadlines.
- Assist with podcast production, including sourcing, scheduling, and coordinating interviews with subject matter experts.
- Support video and audio editing for podcast episodes, ensuring high-quality content delivery.
- Collaborate with design and editorial teams to align multimedia content with our brand and audience goals.
- Analyze newsletter and podcast performance metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, downloads) and prepare reports to inform data-driven improvements.
- Provide administrative support for editorial and podcast planning, including gathering resources and preparing interview questions.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Publishing, Journalism, Business, or related fields.
- Familiarity with podcast production, including scheduling, basic audio/video editing, and episode distribution.
- Experience with email marketing platforms like HubSpot or beehiiv.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with basic HTML and email marketing best practices is a plus.
- Proficiency with audio and video editing tools such as Adobe Audition, GarageBand, or similar software is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in personal finance, alternative investments, or financial education is helpful but not required.
