OIT is seeking a GIS Administrative Coordinator to support our team and help us deliver secure digital services to Coloradans. Our new GIS Coordinator will coordinate communication channels like our team inbox, newsletter, documentation, training, and events for the OIT GIS team. Some of the day to day opportunities include:
- Serve as primary resource for the administration and maintenance of enterprise GIS users.
- Provide access and training, while coordinating aggregation and distribution of our LiDAR and Imagery.
- Identify new uses of data and add additional value to data sets through collaboration with GIS outreach team documentation of services and enterprise data.
- Assist training OIT GIS staff on processing procedures.
- Coordinate training and events through planning, organizing agendas, and sharing materials.
- Primary communication resource for newsletter content development, OIT GIS website maintenance, and team inbox administration.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in GIS, Urban Planning, or comparable field utilizing the ESRI suite of software - ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Online.
- A minimum of one (1) year creating and maintaining documentation, training guides, and user guides.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ARC GIS Online and/or ArcGIS Enterprise Portal.
- Experience with providing end user support within ArcGIS.
- Familiarity with Administering Enterprise GIS users and content with ESRI software, including ArcGIS Online, Hub, Portal.
