Program and Outreach Manager
Start date: March 1, 2025 (flexible)
Position Description: This 32-hour/week position supports the management of the grantmaking process and systems and manages the communications and outreach plan. The position is hybrid, with an expectation of at least 16 hours/week spent in-office. Responsibilities include the following:
- Oversee grants management systems, including application and report forms, payment tracking, and site visit tracking
- Support the Director of Grantmaking throughout the grant review and grantmaking process
- Manage and implement the communications and outreach plan, which entails creating and tracking all communications (monthly emails to grantees, public quarterly newsletter, social media updates, and website content) and outreach to current and potential partners.
- Manage the Foundation’s shared calendar, with a special focus on grantmaking and communications
- Plan and track outreach efforts, including grantee relationship-building events and outreach to potential partners
- Prepare grants and communications-related materials and reports for quarterly board meetings
- Attend grantee engagement events (some may be scheduled on evenings or weekends), likely about once per month.
- Attend and participate in quarterly board meetings, typically held in the evening
- Support Foundation operations with some administrative work, including accounts payable and record keeping
- Work closely with the President and Director of Grantmaking to develop and implement organizational strategy
Experience and Education Requirements: A background in community-based, social work, or nonprofit management is preferred; a minimum of five years of relevant work experience is required, ideally with involvement in grantmaking, fundraising, and/or project management. A post-secondary degree is preferred.

They have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong time management skills, and they can prioritize and take personal responsibility for their work. Compensation: The salary range for 32 hours per week is $72,000-$78,000, dependent on experience. The benefits package includes health care coverage, 403b contributions, and paid time off.
