Suzy Welch, professor at the NYU Stern School of Business, created the Becoming You methodology to guide individuals through the profound, exhilarating, and sometimes surprising journey to their authentic purpose. Becoming You Media, led by Professor Welch, is seeking a Growth Marketing Lead who can help bring the Becoming You methodology and Professor Welch’s messaging to more audiences, both digitally and IRL.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly analytical and creative Growth Marketer to join team Becoming You. The ideal candidate is a data-driven marketer with a deep understanding of digital marketing strategies, funnel optimization, and customer behavior, who can drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. You will work to implement innovative campaigns, analyze performance, and identify opportunities to scale our marketing efforts effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
1) Email Marketing:
- Plan, execute, and optimize email marketing campaigns to engage and retain customers.
- Create targeted email workflows and monitor campaign effectiveness.
- Strategically determine new audiences to reach, driving overall growth.
- Optimize email strategies for increased engagement and conversions, increasing CTR.
- Identify new sources of targeted marketing and expand newsletter offerings.

2) Sales and Event Marketing:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive ticket sales for in-person experiential events.
- Conduct strategic, targeted audience marketing to expand event attendance and engagement.
- TLDR; Sell out all of our in-person events.
3) Performance Marketing:
- Manage, optimize, and scale paid media campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.
- Run A/B tests on ad creatives, landing pages, and messaging to improve campaign performance.
- TLDR; What ads should we be placing (and how can we make sure they perform well)?
4) Digital Products:
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, and conversion for Becoming You's suite of digital products.
- Optimize product positioning and user acquisition strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for digital products’ growth.
- Monitor user behavior within digital products to inform marketing decisions and enhance engagement.

5) Funnel Optimization:
- Identify bottlenecks in the conversion funnel and implement strategies to improve performance.
- Collaborate with the Becoming You team to enhance user experience and engagement.
- TLDR; Grow the audience and keep them coming back.
6) Measuring Performance:
- Measure success through improved conversion rates, increased customer loyalty, and other key metrics.
- Provide actionable insights to refine strategies and enhance marketing outcomes.
- Analyze data from past marketing campaigns to identify opportunities for improvement in future campaigns.
- Monitor key performance metrics and prepare detailed reports on campaign performance and ROI.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or a similar role.
- Proven track record of scaling marketing efforts and achieving measurable growth.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Experience with paid media platforms and tools such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and programmatic advertising.
- Proficiency in email marketing tools like MailChimp.
- Most importantly, you want to be here! You have an understanding (and appreciation) of the Becoming You methodology and Professor Suzy Welch’s tone and voice.
