Summary
This position works closely with other Wealth Managers and Paraplanners to develop the best solutions for each particular client’s financial situation. A Wealth Manager helps build new and maintains existing relationships between clients and the firm, makes recommendations to clients based on their financial needs, and is a main point of contact for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead client meetings and/or potential client meetings.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism when communicating with clients, strategic partners, and team members.
- Develop and maintain strategic alliance relationships.
- Learn and discuss our firm's investment and service models with current and potential clients.
- Acquire and demonstrate specific knowledge of securities, investments and investment products, securities markets, financial planning, securities regulations, firm policies/procedures, and understand how each may affect the client.
- Manage, prioritize and follow-through on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Assist Marketing with white papers, newsletter articles, etc.
- Maintain confidentiality of all items, client and firm related, at all times.
Accountability
Responsible for gathering and maintaining client financial information, prepping for meetings, and assisting with carrying out the recommendations of team members as needed.
Work Environment
Office environment; no unpleasant or hazardous conditions. Occasional travel to attend client events, seminars, and training (during and before/after normal business hours).
Qualifications
- Education: High School with a BA or BS degree (or equivalent experience preferred).
- Licenses required: CFP, CFA or CPA designation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer proficiency in various software programs.
- Be able to maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
