Position Summary
Responsible for conceptualizing, organizing and executing creative and unique internal events, ensuring alignment with organizations vision and objectives. This position resides within the Human Resources Department and provides administrative support to the team. As the face of HR, this person will demonstrate positive energy and image while meeting and exceeding the needs of our external and internal guests.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for organizing and managing over 30 internal team-member events throughout the year including events such as parties, picnics, staff appreciation day, employee outings, etc.
- Manages HR front desk, Monday to Friday 8 am – 5 pm
- Provides HR support; fielding and redirecting calls and emails and other administrative duties.
- Oversees distribution of team member sports tickets and other various incentives.
- Prepares monthly birthday and anniversary lists, and cards.
- Maintains monthly bulletin boards.
- Assists in producing and distributing monthly employee newsletter as assigned.
- Manages Stein Company Employee Store, while conducting monthly inventory and selection of merchandise.
- Conducts basic HRIS system duties such as team member updates and verification of employment reports.
- Orders/maintains Human Resources office inventory including supplies, coffee, forms, business cards and name plates
- Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience And Skills Required
- Education: Degree in Event Management, Human Resources, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Spanish speaking desired.
- Experience: Proven track record of planning and executing events of various sizes. Successful in providing administrative support.
