Traffic Coordinator
Convent, LA
PSC Group is seeking a Traffic Coordinator to join our team at a chemical plant in Convent, LA. The Traffic Coordinator is responsible for processing, tracking, coordinating, and shipping all logistics within our PSC work groups at this site.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (8 hour days)
Pay Range: Starting at $25.00 an hour
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Process and file Bulk Handling paperwork (loading, inventory, inspections, etc.).
- Track and coordinate inbound/outbound railcars with Bulk Handling.
- Generate inventory, production, and rail status reports for management.
- Coordinate Caustic truck shipments, process ATS/BOL, and inspect tanks.
- PGI all shipments in SAP, verifying calculations and chlorine railcar seals.
- Manage raw material receipts, COA processing, and NSF order tracking.
- Update manuals, Coast Guard reports, and assist with month-end reporting.
- Maintain TSA forms, Bulk Handling files, and provide backup support for logistics.
- Batch Railcars loaded in SAP for shipping by first calculating to Dry Tons then adding a Batch Identifier.
- Coordinate with Rail customer orders needing to ship.
- Receive ATS on orders process, stamp and initial. Inform Bulk Handling on shipments.
- Coordinate on incoming ship schedule.
- Handle sensitive paperwork on EDC loadings and hand carry in sealed envelope to safety.
- Communicate daily with PSC Rail Inspector on the repairs and maintenance of railcar fleet and monitoring of cars on Hot List.
- Every Monday, balance all EDC and caustic tanks comparison between tank gauging and SAP records.
- Receive all raw material coming inbound to plant.
- Maintain spreadsheet for HCL/Sulfuric Acid/Spent Acid received and process in SAP.
- Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.
