Position Summary The Content Marketing Manager is responsible for strategizing, executing, and monitoring the success of original marketing content for use on email, blog, website, newsletter, video, social media, digital advertising, and other platforms. This role is responsible for managing the social media presence, looking for compelling ways to further interact successfully with audiences across multiple media platforms, and working in unison with the Director of Marketing to execute brand standards and digital marketing strategic goals.

Conceptualize and execute creative and forward-thinking marketing content for use in all marketing channels: emails, website, digital advertising, social media, wine club communication and others. Keep current on digital and social media trends and emerging opportunities; Develop, execute, and report on a social media strategy that supports our marketing efforts and looks for opportunities to enhance and grow our digital and social media presence while staying true to brand standards. Design and direct photo and video shoots to create high quality content that is engaging, informative, and consistent. Send emails to our customer list and maintain a healthy customer database by adding and archiving contacts as appropriate and in collaboration with Director of Marketing. Extract, maintain, and report on metrics associated with trends, campaign projections and other marketing related strategies. Look for opportunities to increase traffic through SEO optimization and utilize Google analytics to improve website performance and inform strategy. Work closely with digital media vendors to create, monitor and optimize digital advertising within budget. Look for ways to evolve in the digital marketing realm that align with the company’s strong brand history. Clearly convey the brand voice and protect Domaine Carneros’ brand standards in all digital marketing activities. Collaborate with key members from multiple internal departments and external vendor relationships in the development and design of original marketing content and social media campaigns. Represent winery at outside functions by pouring wines, when needed. Use knowledge of Domaine Carneros history and all Domaine Carneros wines for wine service during press visits as necessary. Qualifications
Minimum of three years’ experience in a marketing role, marketing products in a luxury goods or high-end sales environment. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or higher education within a digital marketing concentration or equivalent. Experience and expertise in multiple current social media platforms with an eye on newly emerging media platforms and trends. Experience with data entry and data mining accuracy and efficiency within multiple platforms. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Google Analytics. Proficient in the use of a PC in a networked environment to include MS Office products Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and internet browsers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills, builds rapport and inspires trust. Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, seek support when needed and be accountable for activities. Effective in prioritizing high volume workload. Courteous and sensitive to needs of customers and co-workers. Ability to function well individually and as part of a team. Ability to think creatively, present ideas persuasively, ask for help, when needed. Present a professional image whenever representing Domaine Carneros. Essential Physical Requirements The physical requirements listed are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions and key responsibilities of this position. Work conditions in certain areas of the vineyard, winery and Visitor Center are cold, wet, slippery and/or noisy. Frequent walking, including over uneven ground and up and down stairs, and bending, kneeling, and crouching are required. Ability to sit for extended periods of time; move freely through all work areas; occasional reaching, grasping, bending, twisting and lifting of items up to 30# such as mail bins, boxes of office supplies, printed materials, etc. This is an in-person position, Monday through Friday.
