Position Overview:
As the Social Media and Content Coordinator, you will manage, create and repurpose engaging golf-related content across all social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Content writing and curating blogs about golf trends, tips, and industry insights will be part of your weekly responsibilities.
You should possess creative skills for developing stories and reels specific to the golf experience. Experience in writing compelling copy for social media posts and blogs is essential. Familiarity with production and creative skills for a golf-oriented podcast is a plus; responsibilities may include video and audio production, file conversion, and editing.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in creating content strategies tailored to the golf industry's brand and goals.
- Develop, produce, and deliver social media content that drives organic reach and customer engagement within the golfing community.
- Content development will include golf apparel, accessories, equipment, tournament coverage, course highlights, blogs and press releases.
- Help manage social and digital editorial calendars, ensuring fresh content aligns with marketing and sales-driven strategies.
- Ideate and facilitate creative asset production, including golf photo shoots and video content for social channels.
- Strategize and develop user-generated content (UGC) and photo advocacy campaigns, exploring innovative ways to enhance our marketing efforts.
- Create a content repurposing process that ensures optimal formatting, context, and delivery for each digital media channel.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and e-commerce teams to develop campaigns that achieve sales-specific goals in the golf sector.
- Produce weekly and monthly social media performance reports, offering analysis and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on current best practices and platform changes in the golf industry, continually learning to optimize content and grow our channels.
- Manage day-to-day messaging; oversee the company blog, e-newsletter, and golf-related social media.
- Identify media and press coverage opportunities within the golf community.
- Monitor and evaluate ROI and KPIs specific to our content efforts.
- Generate reports on marketing and sales metrics, compile forecasts, and analyze competitor activity within the golf industry.
- Develop strategies to enhance existing and past marketing initiatives in the golf space.
- Be willing to take intelligent risks, innovate, and show creativity in our golf content.
- Travel as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in marketing, social media, or brand coordination. Experience in the golf industry or e-commerce is a plus.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications or a related field is preferred.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the latest trends in digital media creation, particularly within the golf sector.
