Troy, Michigan headquarters as
a Marketing & Events Associate. Working closely with marketing leaders, the Marketing & Events Associate will play an important role in managing the firm’s events and supporting various firm marketing initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and manage all elements of regional internal and external event coordination, including venue selection, registration, continuing education, giveaway procurement, promotional materials and on-site coordination, if warranted.
- Develop a working knowledge of the firm’s service offerings, markets, industry experience and key service differentiators to help create content for various deliverables, including presentations, targeted list development, mailings, etc.
- Execute sponsorship opportunities aligned with the firm’s marketing goals.
- Draft content for internal and external audiences, such as marketing collateral, through leadership articles and employee news.
- Support marketing onboarding efforts of new firm team members, including drafting professional bios, scheduling photos and related announcements.
- Aid in the management of the proposal process, including tailoring content for targeted clients, tracking opportunities in the CRM, creating related reporting metrics and performing post-mortem follow up.
- Assist in performing digital campaigns, including performing website updates, e-newsletter creation and quantifying readership metrics, when needed
- Complete ad-hoc projects as needed to support strategic firm and geo-specific marketing plans.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or other related field
- 2-3 years of related experience required, preferably with a specialization in event planning in accounting or professional services environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication competencies, as well as interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter, ability to operate autonomously.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized and able to set priorities under pressure.
- Requires strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, HubSpot and CMS systems is a plus.
- Ability to travel to regional events, when needed.
