The purpose of this role is to grow the brand by identifying, securing and managing design and media partnerships. The Communications branding Manager supports the generation of new business as it pertains to product, and plan, create and manage brand messages and content across internal and external channels.
This position will oversee 3 direct reports and represent the team in various roles inside and outside of the brand, as well as becoming involved with other projects and events as necessary.
Focused on delivering content of exceptional quality and contemporary relevance, the candidate aims to effectively design our company’s identity and messaging to the public and the media. At its core, the Brand Strategy team merges storytelling with business pragmatism. This merger of creative + operations requires a dynamic way of thinking. Success measures include increasing the company’s visibility through all forms of media and promotional materials in a way that aligns with and positively highlights the brand identity; delivering projects on budget and on time; and collaborating with the team to originate, evolve, and otherwise develop creative strategies that support the team’s larger business objectives
. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Communications + PR . Oversee and actively participate in the creation, design, coordination, budget and production of brand photoshoots, marketing assets (electronic and print publications) as well as media opportunities.

Produce communication material in all forms i.e. design narratives and project/product briefs, press releases, public appearances and speaking engagements, for immediate publication o Create strategy and narratives for reputation management and crisis communications. o Develop and maintain adequate controls and checklists for project and product scheduling and follow-ups.
Create a strategic communications project management plan, and establish processes for managing communications projects from start to finish. Create repository of communications materials. o Maintain all ongoing project and product information for the creation of design narratives, for immediate publication. o Coordinate the development of content for website, as required. Public Relations o Manage ongoing PR efforts, media endeavors, special projects, and events. Develop new and meaningful relationships with potential Media contacts and creative partners. Respond to all media and photography requests.
Assist with the planning and management of key events. Assist company representatives and leaders to coordinate and prepare for any interviews and speaking engagements, including associated materials. Develop systems and processes, including an editorial calendar, to ensure that all external communications stay up-to-date. Create and implement cohesive brand strategies to enhance brand positioning, awareness and market share. Use insights to guide brand strategies and ensure alignment with industry standards and client expectations. Manage and maintain brand consistency across all touch points, including digital channels, print materials, and client communications. Ensure that all branding efforts accurately reflect our firm's professional standards and design ethos. Lead the development and execution of high-impact marketing campaigns. Collaborate with creative teams to produce engaging content and promotional materials that resonates with potential clients. Act as the brand's advocate both internally and externally. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media, partners and influencer's. o Track and analyze brand performance metrics. Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to senior management. Business Development – Product + Partnerships.
Partner with team to define global product landscape across typologies and identify opportunities for strategic growth through events, speaking engagements, press with the goal to expand their reputation internationally. Serve as main point of contact for remain up to date on collection progress and status.
CHARACTERISTICS FOR SUCCESS: • Bachelors’ degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field of design (interior, architecture, industrial, fashion) • Minimum 8-12 years of experience in marketing, business administration, communications, or brand management. • Demonstrated success contributing to or managing earned media efforts; experience acting as media liaison. • Excellent attention to detail. Organized and process-oriented. • Proven ability to develop and execute successful brand strategies and marketing campaigns. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.. • Excellent creative and professional writing skills. • High level of professionalism and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. • Demonstrated expertise in writing web content, news alerts, press releases, research reports, talking points, brochures, annual reports, presentations, how-tos, newsletter, crisis communications, and other external communications.
