Talent Management Specialist - Zeeland, Michigan
DISHER is currently hiring for a Talent Management Specialist in Zeeland, Michigan. This person will have the opportunity to create, implement, and support programs and processes related to performance management, orientation and onboarding, training and development, and employee engagement at DISHER. This person will also help foster a culture of informal and formal knowledge exchange, coaching, and learning throughout the organization to help engage and retain our talent.

What you will get to do:
- Own the administration and continuous improvement of specific aspects of performance management at DISHER including team member and coach one-on-ones, goal setting, and annual performance evaluations
- Lead training and development and career pathing initiatives with input and support from other key stakeholders (Leadership, IT, and HR)
- Create learning content and continuous learning initiatives
- Craft a weekly DISH electronic newsletter focused on nurturing culture and connection
- Administer DISHER’s years of service and patent awards
- Lead stay interviews for new hires
- May facilitate exit interviews for the company
- Serve as the point person and lead efforts related to New Hire Orientation and Onboarding
- Administer company-wide culture and pulse surveys on a regular cadence
- Provide support for DISHER’s Corporate Opportunities and Subject Matter Communities
- Key member of the Connections Corporate Opportunity
- Assist with the DISHER internship program
- Provide general administrative support related to DISHER vehicles, housekeeping, and delivery services
- Sit at the DISHER front desk and greet team members, guests, and customers as they arrive
- Key member of the HR Steering Team
What will make you successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources preferred
- 2 to 4 years of related experience preferred
- Demonstrate intermediate-level knowledge of performance management software, organizational development practices, talent and succession planning, career pathing, and skills assessments
- Possess a strong passion for employee engagement, development, and retention
- Previous experience creating training and development initiatives
- Enjoys public speaking
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage ambiguity and can easily navigate from one task to another
- Enjoys staying up to date on industry trends through ongoing learning and adapting strategies
