Community Hospital Corporation (CHC), a DFW Top 100 Employer, is looking for a
Supply Chain Operations and Communications Specialist based out of our home office in Plano, TX. This position, under general supervision, the Operations and Communications Specialist will work closely with the CHC Supply Trust team to ensure operations are optimized in identified areas.

Reporting to the VP, Supply Chain Operations & GPO Implementation, the Communications Specialist is responsible for creating and facilitating digital communications for internal and external use, creating and maintaining policies and procedures, coordinating training and special events, maintaining and performing audits on identified systems.
Major Responsibilities
- In conjunction with the Supply Chain team, create, document and implement standardized processes and procedures
- Create & maintain new staff orientation schedule for Supply Trust employees
- Perform annual security audits for analytics tools and the HealthTrust portal
- Participate in vendor audits as required
- Develop presentations utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint as requested
- Support membership business reviews:
- Assist with creating a standardized business review template
- Work with administrative assistant to schedule business review
- Create business review presentations as requested
- Update monthly board reports for owned, managed, consulting facilities
- Update the Supply Trust reporting metrics for the CHC board report and the quarterly all employee staff meeting
- Coordinate and create the presentation for the annual board education sessions
- Coordinate speakers, agendas, reservations and other duties for CHC Supply Trust sponsored training and events
- Support the Supply Chain Steering Committee & Secondary Committees by documenting meeting notes, action items, communications & general meeting preparation
- Create & manage targeted digital communications such as monthly member performance and opportunities, vendor opportunities, publishing of a quarterly Supply Trust newsletter
- Survey development and compiling results for various topics including and not limited to supplies shortage, annual customer feedback, event participation interest/attendance etc
- Salesforce Entry and Maintenance
- Salesforce subject matter expert including the ability to assist others with the platform and ensuring the information in the application is current and standardized
- Entry of member contract renewals
- Purchased services contracts entry and maintenance
- Audits to ensure Salesforce is standardized and current
- Assist with preparation of the agenda, presentation and meeting details for the monthly standardization calls, staff meetings, purchased services monthly strategy meeting etc
- Coordinate travel plans for facility visits, conference, sales events i.e. airline, hotel, agenda, registration, receipts etc
- Assist with compiling and entering expense reports as requested
- Assist with preparation for monthly CFO Calls
General Duties
- Develop critical relationships with internal or external customers. Assist with account management such as maintaining customer profiles, details and service needs.
- Process operational data in software systems and applications, identify missing or potential operational or service concerns, and resolve with the appropriate groups. Utilize databases, logs, and other sources to locate and verify information; information is usually complex
- Run, analyze and summarize operational reports and details. Present information to co-workers or supervisors are needed
- Coordinate digital communications generated for membership
- Create and process invoices, review for operational accuracy, work with customers on questions and payment; assist others as needed
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management or a related field with 1-3 years of healthcare supply chain experience or relevant experience supporting a fast paced and changing department
OR
- Associates degree in business and 3-5 years of healthcare supply chain experience or relevant experience supporting a fast paced and changing department
Skills And Knowledge
- Communicates openly, respectfully, and timely in writing, and verbally
- Digital communications creation experience.
- Recent experience with Salesforce preferred or other CRM product
- Ability to manage stress appropriately and make decisions under pressure
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently
- Ability to learn new software programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to prepare operational reports
- Healthcare industry knowledge
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Ability to collect and interpret data and make recommendations from the analysis
