Presentation High School, an independent Catholic college preparatory school for young women located in the heart of Silicon Valley, is seeking a Manager of Marketing and Communications with a focus on Alumnae Relations to join its communications team. With new leadership and an ongoing commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, Presentation seeks an experienced storyteller with excellent written, video, and digital skills.
Full-time/Part-time: Full-time On-Site

Reports to: Director of Marketing and Communications
Salary Range: $65,000-$97,000 (Depending on Experience)
Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the person in this role will be the primary communication liaison for all Presentation Alumnae, keeping them informed and engaged with our school community. This individual will be responsible for implementing innovative strategies to enhance Alumnae engagement, ensuring that our Alumnae remain connected and active participants in the Presentation network.
Additionally, this position will manage our social media platforms—Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn—by creating timely, engaging content tailored to each channel. Working closely with the Director and collaborating with the advancement team, this person will play a crucial role in driving the school’s strategic communications plan, aligning messaging with the school’s goals and mission while maintaining a strong online presence and Alumnae experience.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintain and nurture strong Alumnae relations by regularly requesting life updates, celebrating milestones by sending baby onesies, and creating both digital and physical spaces for Alumnae to connect.
- Manage and execute the strategy and content on multiple social media accounts
- Cover school events as assigned to create and post original digital content and messaging
- Assist in the production of key publications, including the annual magazine, advancement materials, and campaigns
- Assist in writing, designing, publishing, and creating content for the Alumnae newsletters
- Coordinate Marketing & Communications operations
- Serve as a digital brand ambassador and steward cohesive brand presence across all digital platforms

Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications or related ?eld
- Minimum three to ?ve years of experience in a similar role preferred
- Commitment to the mission and educational philosophy of Presentation High School including a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to successfully organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects under strict deadlines
- Photography, video editing, script writing experience a plus
- Passion and expertise around social media platforms
- Experience using e-newsletter platforms (MailChimp, Constant Contact)
- Experience with Canva or graphic design a plus
- Available and willing to work occasional after-hour events
- Knowledge of CMS website platforms and use of basic HTML a plus
