PAY RANGE: $80,787.20 to $98,737.60 Annual salary
About CommuniCare+OLE
Established in 2023, CommuniCare+OLE is the result of a union of two health centers with a deep roots in their respective communities and reputations for providing high-quality primary care to all, regardless of insurance or ability to pay: OLE Health of Napa and Solano Counties and CommuniCare Health Centers of Yolo County. Building on a legacy established by both organizations in 1972, CommuniCare+OLE is a network of federally-qualified health centers with 17 sites across Napa, Solano, and Yolo Counties. It offers comprehensive care, including medical, dental, behavioral health and substance use treatment, nutrition, optometry, pharmacy, care coordination, referrals, and enrollment assistance to more than 70,000 individuals, and no one is turned away due to lack of insurance, immigration status, or ability to pay. Many services are offered outside of its sites, including mobile health, home visiting, and community and school-based programs.

JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Internal Communications and Engagement Manager will be responsible for internal and leadership communications, including the creation and dissemination of an internal newsletter, SharePoint content, CEO and senior leadership communications, presentations and agendas for all-staff and leadership meetings, and the creation and maintenance of a company-wide calendar.
Your strategic communications skills and use of data and analytics will shape our organization’s narrative, fostering a unified internal culture and ensuring effective communications from our executive team to more than 800 employees across our three counties: Napa, Solano and Yolo. Position will work closely with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, marketing/communications, human resources and DEI and other committees to ensure that all comms reflect the tone, culture, and values of the organization.
Strong writing skills, project management, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a large organization are required.
KNOWLEDGE OF WORK
Experience in developing content calendars and creation of internal collateral materials, including emails, internal campaign materials, Sharepoint posts and stories, and meeting agendas/presentations.Proficiency using SharePoint, LinkedIn, Canva, YouTube, MailChimpAbility to work with senior leadership and executives and help message and manage organizational updates and changeAbility to manage multiple projects, including keeping all relevant stakeholders up-to-date on latest information and on-track with deliverables.Ability to execute on assigned projects with limited oversight, maintaining high energy, maturity, and a strong work ethicExperience working on employee recognition and engagement initiatives, including efforts around recruiting and onboarding
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops and executes comprehensive internal communications strategyDevelops engaging and timely contentTracks and measures engagement and makes recommendations to adjust communications strategies to maximize reach and impact of future effortsMaintains strong internal relationships with leadership to stay current on important internal updates and changesCoordinates with human resources on materials and communication regarding recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts/employee recognitionAssists with the maintenance and development of the organization’s asset library including video, photography and content; including staff profilesMaintains positive relationships with creative services vendorsAssists with internal event logistics and planning, as neededPerforms other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, or other relevant field desired, or comparable experience.
- At least 5+ years’ experience in internal or executive communications, preferably within a health care or nonprofit setting.
- Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex information into clear and compelling messages.
- Commitment to working collaboratively with all constituent groups across the organization.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines.

- Capacity to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
