Job Description
We are seeking a talented Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and executing customer communication strategies that drive engagement, retention, and business growth across our suite of financial management products.
You'll work cross-functionally to manage customer newsletters and personalized campaigns, leveraging rich customer data to create impactful, relevant messaging.
The ideal candidate is passionate about customer-centric marketing in the fintech space, has a strong analytical mindset, and thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You'll have the opportunity to shape our customer journey, working closely with various teams to ensure our marketing efforts align with product features, market context, and the diverse needs of our small business and individual customers. This role reports to the Senior Marketing Manager and offers significant potential for growth and impact within our organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and execute a regular cadence of customer newsletters and personalized campaigns using customer data
- Build and maintain a comprehensive annual campaign calendar for the newsletter program
- Support the internationalization of lifecycle marketing campaigns through detailed project planning and execution
- Implement test & learn strategies and partner with Analytics to measure campaign impact on KPIs
- Collaborate with Marketing Operations to plan and manage multi-channel campaigns
- Work with Product Marketing to ensure accurate communication of value propositions and product features
- Design triggered communications such as feature abandon series and upgrade series
- Utilize customer behavior and data insights to drive relevant communication strategies
Required Experience/Skills
- 4+ years experience in Lifecycle/Email marketing, preferably with newsletter or retention/churn prevention focus
- Proven ability to use customer and behavioral data to drive impactful communication strategies
- Experience with dynamic content and audience segmentation for personalized messaging
- Proficiency in implementing testing best practices and iterating based on results
- Strong customer focus and ability to put customers at the center of all programs
- Self-starter with a bias for action
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with B2B and B2C SaaS products, particularly in financial software
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with international marketing campaigns
- Knowledge of marketing automation platforms
- Familiarity with data analytics tools
- Project management certification
- Experience in fintech or financial services industry
Education Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field required. MBA or relevant master's degree is a plus.
