Job Overview:
The main function of a Communications Specialist is to assist corporate communications with message development, writing, and editing. This individual will develop a comprehensive communications plan and editorial calendar serving both virtual and in-person audiences to drive global engagement and connection. S/he will be adept at taking abstract and/or complex issues and transforming them into powerful narratives that resonate with our global workforce. They will work cross-functionally to identify and develop integrated communications, working in partnership with the broader Communications team, helping to scale the organization’s employee culture and growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring timely, creative, and accurate dissemination of news, multimedia content, and information
- Create a variety of content for platforms, ensuring quality, accuracy, and effective storytelling that aligns with corporate messaging
- Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data
- Works closely with the Client's Product corporate sales team to write and finalize the monthly and annual press release
Job Requirements:
- 5-7 overall years of experience in the field
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent training preferred
- Experience with newsletter communication and SharePoint management
- Experience with global teams and understanding of global communication agendas
- Proficiency in corporate communications, with samples of corporate communications requested during interviews
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Negotiation skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time
- Basic knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services
- Basic knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods
