Our client, a leading nonprofit research institute, is looking for a Communications & Marketing Manager to join their team full time! This is a hybrid position, requiring three days onsite.

This role will involve developing and executing comprehensive content and marketing strategies that support our organization’s goals and growth objectives. The ideal candidate will be a creative and strategic thinker with strong writing skills and a solid grasp of digital marketing and SEO best practices.
Responsibilities for the Communications & Marketing Manager include but are not limited to:
- Developing and writing engaging science-related content for the website, blog, and email newsletters
- Maintaining a content calendar to ensure timely and consistent publication across all platforms
- Assisting in creating marketing materials, including event-related content, promotional copy, and social media posts
- Managing the production and distribution of the monthly newsletter
- Coordinating and implementing content strategies for the website, email marketing, and social media to support organizational goals and enhance our reputation
- Providing feedback and editing support to team members, including department coordinators and other content writers
- Overseeing website management, ensuring content is current, accurate, and optimized for SEO
- Implementing SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and search engine rankings
- Collaborating with external vendors for website updates and new features as needed
- Monitoring and analyzing the performance of website, digital marketing, and content initiatives
The ideal Communications & Marketing Manger will have:
- 3+ years of experience in content creation, digital marketing, and SEO
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong storytelling ability with experience translating complex scientific content into compelling narratives; experience in biotech is a plus
- Proven track record of leading successful communications and marketing campaigns
- Proficiency in WordPress and analytics tools
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
