This position is responsible for developing, organizing, implementing, and monitoring strategic marketing plans to serve Wealth Management and Commercial Lending initiatives for a Bank. Additionally, this position is a management position that is responsible for creating goals that align with the marketing strategy, managing all projects, analyzing data, meeting KPI’s, and delivering recommendations based on project performance to senior executives.
Responsibilities
Define target audiences for the Wealth Management and Commercial Lending teams, as well as develop a 360 degree marketing strategy to target their prospective clients. This includes but is not limited to event marketing, direct marketing, location signage, print advertising, and website content development/support. Manage ad creative executions.
Create budget recommendations for yearly marketing initiatives and manage projects accordingly. This includes handling vendor invoices, tracking the results of paid projects, and meeting paid project goals.
Project management over all commercial/wealth management projects. Developing timetables for the team and meeting deadlines.
Track and interpret data analytics of all developed marketing initiatives and prepare recommendations based on those results.
Develop name recognition for the Bank brand through PR efforts and media relationships.
Find opportunities and support all aspects of event marketing, internally and externally, including trade shows, event partnerships, webinars, podcasts, etc. Responsible for fulfilling sales materials, promotional items, and any other event set-up and coordination required.
Work on enhancing customer communications and automatic customer journeys utilizing D365 Microsoft Dynamics CRM Marketing.
Monthly content creation and management for newsletter readers, educational library, and digital campaigns.
Work with Social Media Specialist and Florida Social Media and Engagement Analyst to engage customers and prospects through all social media platforms and paid advertisement efforts.
Work with Compliance department to ensure all copy and disclosures are correct and coordinate/implement any regulation changes with the rest of the Marketing team.
Work directly with branches to ensure quality control.
Work with outside vendors to produce materials, deliver schedules, develop cost estimates, and submit invoices as needed.
Collaborate with other members of the Marketing department by sharing ideas, supporting all team members in various activities, working on the entire process to ensure the best outcome but also work independently in the Florida market.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or a related area required.
Experience:
Minimum three years of marketing experience required; banking or financial services industry experience is a plus.
Must be an innovator who understands marketing and technology and can identify business objectives and business development, creating corresponding solutions while executing the entire project, resulting in engagement/sales.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Must have excellent organizational skills.
Ability to lead and manage a team, work as part of a team, as well as work independently.
Strategic-minded with a desire to take a hands-on approach.
Communication Skills:
Must be professional, comfortable speaking with external and internal contacts, with a demonstrated ability to effectively tailor the message appropriately to the audience and situation.
Demonstrated ability to convey thoughts and ideas effectively and succinctly via written formats such as emails, letters, and electronic platforms. Maintain professional standards relating to spelling and grammar. This individual will converse and lead meetings with senior level managers and will be responsible for numerous writing initiatives.
Maintain credibility through professional demeanor, appearance, and presence modeling standards appropriate to our environment and industry.
Maintain good working relationships with internal partners by exhibiting exemplary interpersonal skills, adopting a constructive, solutions-focused approach.
Bilingual in Spanish and English, including written communication, is required.
Familiarity with creating and editing financial related copy.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 products and applications, including the ability to effectively prepare or review documents, procedures, and reports.
Experience utilizing Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, and Photoshop is required.
HTML experience preferred.
Travel Required (if applicable):
Periodic travel to outside vendors/strategic partners and branch network. May need to travel to Illinois for some meetings and training.
Scheduling/Hours:
Typical schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be required depending upon business need.
Punctuality is required.
