Typical Day in the Role
• Purpose of the Team: The purpose of the SMB team is to help support digital startups and ISV. Cultivate and help with the success of a 70 FTE team, globally.
• Key projects: This role will contribute to helping the new team leader set up his team, assisting with budget management, travel coordination hiring and onboarding activities.

Candidate Requirements
• Years of Experience Required: 8-10 overall years of experience in the field.
• Degrees or certifications required: No degree is required to be eligible for this role. Preferred bachelor’s degree or a data certification (Example, power BI or excel certification)
• Disqualifiers: Candidates with missing required skills will not be eligible for the role.
• Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain previous Microsoft experience, business management or generalist background, Office management, and experience working in a high-speed environment
• Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on responsiveness and quality of work.

Summery:
Business Manager
- Supports day-to-day operations and planning.
- Leads PCN Management, headcount tracking across the broader team.
- Supports the internal continuation of business operations during all times, including periods of change or special circumstances through tactical execution of continuity plans.
- Supports the annual budget process under the direction of others.
- Tracks the use of role-based compliance training and new trainings, as well as collaborates on culture initiatives (e.g., Diversity and Inclusion [D&I], hiring, onboarding) while partnering with Human Resources (HR) to do so.
- Contributes to cross-team projects as needed to meet the changing business environment.
- Partners with communications team to land internal content such as email cascades.
