Job Summary
Richard Group is seeking a talented Marketing Coordinator to support our marketing initiatives and contribute to our company's ambitious growth plan. This role will be instrumental in coordinating digital platform management and supporting business development efforts. The Marketing Coordinator will support the marketing team by helping with marketing strategies focused on social media, video production, website management, event planning, and data analytics. The ideal candidate is a creative and detail-oriented individual with a passion for digital marketing and a strong understanding of the latest trends and technologies.
Responsibilities:
Content, Email + PR
- Assist in implementing marketing strategies that align with short and long-term company objectives.
- Assist in execution of content strategy and framework that feeds blog, email newsletter and social.
- Create a content calendar and approval routing system that includes all social posts, blog posts and emails.
- Manage email list and distribution of the company email newsletter, highlighting key projects, achievements, and company news.
- Support the Business Development and Lead Capture teams by creating marketing collateral and content for various platforms.
- Support Public Relations (PR) initiatives, press releases, interviews, bylined articles, research and briefing sheets for executives.
- Manage the compilation of annual awards submissions and deadlines, showcasing the company's achievements and successes.
Social Media
- Manage and grow Richard Group's social media presence across multiple platforms, creating engaging content that showcases our innovative approach and commitment to solving challenges.
- Develop and implement a social media calendar across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) to align with brand messaging.
- Monitor social media channels for feedback and respond promptly to inquiries and comments.
Video Production
- Coordinate the production of video content with videographers, including planning, shooting, editing, and distributing videos across digital platforms.
- Collaborate with team members to develop creative video concepts that align with marketing goals.
- Maintain and organize video assets and ensure timely delivery of content.
Website
- Assist in updating and maintaining website content to ensure information is current and accurate.
- Work with the web development team to optimize the website for SEO and user experience.
- Analyze website traffic and user behavior to inform content and design improvements.
Events
- Coordinate and execute company events, both internal and external, collaborating with various departments (e.g. HR, BD, Admin) to ensure successful outcomes.
- Assist in planning and executing marketing events, including trade shows, conferences, webinars, and promotional events.
- Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, vendor management, and event promotion.
- Collect and analyze feedback from events to improve future activities.
Analytics and Reporting
- Track, analyze, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve future marketing efforts.
- Maintain systems, dashboards and reports to monitor marketing performance metrics and KPIs, using systems such as, Sprout, Google Analytics or PowerBI.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in marketing
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with marketing analytics tools and SEO best practices (i.e. Marketo, MailChimp, SEM Rush, PowerBI, Tableau, Google Analytics, Facebook Ad Manager, Hootsuite, Sprout)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the construction industry, particularly with a general contractor.
- Event planning experience.
- Knowledge of government and commercial sectors.
- Video editing skills and experience with relevant software (i.e. Adobe PremierPro, CapCut)
- Experience with email marketing platforms and CRM systems (i.e. Salesforce, Marketo)
- Experience in graphic design software (i.e. Canva, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator)
